PET preforms range from 10 grams to 750 grams, this will depend on the type of container, while larger, heavier, and thicker, PET preforms with more material, and a larger size is required.
Many of the manufacturers of plastic containers usually buy them, since the characteristics that must be considered during their manufacture are not few and it is a complex process that must be carried out by experts. For example, the speed and temperature of the resin at the time of injection, the speed and temperature of cooling, the pressure of the water used and the composition of the coolant is vital.
Once the manufacturer has the preforms, it is necessary to start the blowing process, the preforms are heated to be mouldable, and they are blown with air at a suitable speed for each container until they touch the mold that will give it the shape. They must go through a cooling and unmolding process to give rise to the final bottles.
